Fig. 21 Remote Starter Harness Connection:

1. Connect the remote starter harness.
2. Ensure the transmission is in park (neutral for a manual transmission).
3. Set the parking brake.
4. Connect the alligator clamp on the battery + terminal.
5. Connect the male terminal into the single pin connector (1), Fig. 21. If a remote starter harness is not available, use the key switch to operate the starter.
6. Disconnect the tachymetric relay.

7. Install the tachymetric relay by-pass harness between pin 2 (wire 20B battery +) and pin 5 (wire 76 power to fuel pumps) of connector (3), Fig. 22.
