Pressure Gauge Connection

1. The testing apparatus is installed in series between the cold pressure regulator (1), Fig. 16 and the fuel metering distributor (2), Fig. 16.
2. To avoid fuel run-off when the fuel hose (3), Fig. 16 is disconnected at the fuel metering distributor, proceed as follows:
3. Remove the flexible hose from injector number 4 and place the end into a fuel safe container.
4. Remove the air intake rubber boot.
5. Activate the air flow sensor plate.
6. As soon as the fuel stops running, release the air flow sensor plate.
7. Reinstall the flexible hose on injector number 4.
8. Remove the flexible hose from the fuel distributor.
9. Install in its place, the reducer (-).0141H with a copper or fiber gasket.
10. Connect the flexible hose (3), Fig. 16 to the tap of the test equipment (use the banjo fitting with the two copper gaskets removed with hose (3), Fig. 16.)
11. Connect the flexible hose (7),Fig. 16 from the test apparatus onto the reducer (6), Fig. 16, (-).0141H.
