SUBJECT: EXCESSIVE BRAKE SQUEAL/STEERING WHEEL SHIMMY WHEN BRAKING/BRAKE PEDAL PULSATION

In order to improve the quality of brake repairs:
- A reference chart has been generated to be used as a guide to effectively resolve customer complaints of brake squeal, brake pedal pulsation and/or steering wheel shimmy.
- PMA will presently be supplying two types of replacement brake pads only:
1. Semi-metallic brake pads
2. Asbestos-free Jurid 506EE brake pads with a thin abrasive break-in coating
WARRANTY INFORMATION:
3c** PMA may require the return of brake rotors replaced under warranty. This
component must be properly stored along with your green copy of the warranty claim inserted into the material tag envelope and attached to the part.
Should the component be requested for inspection, notification will appear next to the credited part number on your Warranty Statement, the component must be returned within 15 days of payment being issued.
