Lack of Power

Engine delivers less than expected power. Little or no increase in speed on slight acceleration.

POSSIBLE CAUSES

Spark Timing - Excessive Retard
- Check timing in "Adjustment Procedures"
- Refer to "On-Board Diagnostics" if so equipped

Initial Timing Incorrect
- Check Ignition Timing in "Adjustment Procedures"

Restricted Exhaust
- Check Catalytic Converter in "Testing Procedures"

Poor or Contaminated Fuel
- Recommend higher grade fuel
