The lock cylinders are located inside the doors and liftgate of the vehicle and are directly hard-wired to the Body Control Module (BCM). These lock cylinders have integral switches which are used to signal the BCM to arm or disarm the theft deterrent system when the proper key is used to lock or unlock the vehicle.
