Function Actuator (RFA) Module

The remote control door lock receiver is located beneath the instrument panel upper trim and is powered by the vehicle battery through the instrument panel wiring harness. The remote control door lock receiver determines which command is sent by the transmitter and sends the appropriate signal to the Body Control Module (BCM) for the command to be carried out. However, the power sliding door function is carried out directly by the remote control door lock receiver independent of the BCM.
