Remote Activation Verification (RAV)

The Body Control Module (BCM) provides a Remote Activation Verification (RAV) feature, which supplies feedback to the operator on receipt and execution of certain Remote Function Actuation (RFA) commands.

A valid transmitter message received by the remote control door lock receiver will cause the BCM to command certain functions depending on the RAV mode. The BCM has four RAV modes of operation. Refer to "Remote Activation Verification Customization" for information on the different RAV modes and how to customize them.
