Glove Compartment: Service and Repair

Description:

Remove or Disconnect
1. Open instrument panel compartment door.
2. Four screws mounting instrument panel compartment to instrument panel.
3. Instrument panel compartment from instrument panel by pulling out hard-to-release clips.
4. Electrical connectors.

Install or Connect

NOTICE: Refer to Service Precautions.

1. Electrical connectors to instrument panel compartment.
2. Instrument panel compartment to instrument panel by sliding into opening.
3. Align locator pins into the hole in the instrument panel.
4. Align retaining clips with slots.
5. Push instrument panel compartment to secure.
6. Screws to instrument panel compartment.

Tighten
- Screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb.in.).

7. Close instrument panel compartment door.
