Headlamp Aiming - Using the Headlamp Aimer

Description:

NOTICE: In order to avoid any possibility of damage, regardless of weather a vehicle has glass or plastic headlamps, it is recommended that the headlamps not be illuminated when using headlamp aiming equipment which uses a suction cup device for attachment.

Tool Required:
J 25300-B Headlamp Aimer

Headlamp Aiming Procedure
1. Adjust headlamp aimers for floor level.
2. Select the appropriate adapter from J 25300-B.
3. Set the adjustment rods to the numbers shown on the front of the headlamp capsule.
4. Attach the adapter to the aimer from J 25300-B.
5. Attach the aimers to the headlamp capsule, making sure that adjustment rods are contacting the aiming pads. (You may have to add or remove an extension stud.)
6. Aim the headlamps according to the aiming tool manufacturer's instructions.
7. If adjustments are needed: Horizontal adjustments may he made with the inner adjustment screw. Vertical adjustment may he made with the upper adjustment screw.
