Troubleshooting Hints - Exterior Lights
1. Check the T/SIG Fuse, if it is open repair a short to ground in Circuit 539.2. Check the HAZARD Fuse, if it is open repair a short to ground in Circuit 1840.
3. Check the STOP LAMP Fuse, if it is open repair a short to ground in Circuit 140.
4. Check the PARK I/P Fuse, if it is open repair a short to ground in Circuit 1340.
5. If one of the turn indicators goes on when the park lamps are turned on, check the front park/turn lamp on that side for a short to circuit 9.
6. If turn lamps stay on (do not flash) in both LEFT TURN and RIGHT TURN, replace the turn signal lamp flasher.
7. For any of the following symptoms, replace the turn signal switch:
- All turn, hazard and side marker lamps do not work and C201 is firmly mated.

11. If only one lamp does not operate. Check the lamp, socket and related wiring for opens or corrosion.
- Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove good in a continuity/voltage check with a system disconnected. These circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded, and if possible, should be checked by monitoring for a voltage drop with the system operational (under load).
- Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems refer to General Troubleshooting Procedures. Diagnostic Aids
- Refer to System Diagnosis.
