Front Toe Adjustment






NOTE: Make sure power steering gear seals do not twist.

1. Remove small power steering gear seal clamp.
2. With steering wheel set in straight-ahead position, loosen hex nuts on tie rod. Rotate inner tie rod to obtain proper toe angle. Refer to Specifications.
3. Check that the number of threads showing on each tie rod is nearly equal.
4. Make sure tie rod ends are square to the steering knuckle before tightening hex nuts.
^ Tighten Hex nuts at tie rod ends to 68 Nm (50 ft. lbs.).
5. Make sure power steering gear seals are not twisted.
6. Install power steering gear seal clamps.
