Thermostat Bypass Pipe

Heater Pipes:

Remove or Disconnect

1. Drain cooling system.
2. Air cleaner and duct assembly.
3. Left-side torque strut mount.
4. Upper radiator hose from housing.
5. Transmission modulator vacuum pipe.
6. Engine acoustic cover.
7. Spark plugs wires right bank.
8. Outlet hoses from thermostat bypass pipe.
9. Thermostat bypass pipe mounting bolts and nut.
10. Thermostat bypass pipe.

Install or Connect

1. Thermostat bypass pipe.
2. Thermostat bypass pipe mounting bolts and nut.

Tighten
^ Bolt to water pump housing to 12 N.m (106 lb. in.).
^ Bolt to cylinder head to 25 N.m (18 lb. ft.).
^ Nut to 25 N.m (18 lb. ft.).

3. Outlet hoses to thermostat bypass pipe.
4. Spark plugs wires right bank.
5. Engine acoustic cover.
6. Transmission modulator vacuum pipe.
7. Upper radiator hose to housing.
8. Left-side torque strut mount.
9. Air cleaner and duct assembly.
10. Refill cooling system.
