Upper Roller Bracket Rattle (Install Bumper)

1997-99 Chevrolet Venture
1997-99 Oldsmobile Silhouette

Condition
Some customers may comment that their sliding side door rattles at the top.

Correction
Install a new bumper using the following service procedure:

1. Open the sliding door.

2. Pull down on the front of the upper roller track cover to gain access.





3. At the front end of the upper roller track, slide the flap of the rubber bumper over the top of the channel and push the bumper in to install as shown in the figure.

4. Reinstall the track cover. Make sure the inboard portion of the primary seal lays on top of the track cover to hold it in place.
