General Description

If your vehicle is equipped with the AUO option code, the vehicle also has a factory installed Remote Function Actuation (RFA) system. The RFA system provides the following functions:
- Locks and unlocks the vehicle doors
- Locks and unlocks the liftgate
- Provides interior illumination following an unlock command
- Opens and closes the power sliding door, if equipped with option code E58
- Uses the alarm feature to sound the horn, illuminate interior lamps and flash the park lamps

The RFA system operates on a radio frequency that is subject to Federal Communications Commission (FCC) guidelines. Operation is subject to the following 2 conditions:
- The device may not cause harmful interference.
- The device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
