Last Door Closed Locking

The BCM activates the last door closed locking feature when these conditions are met:
- Locking control mode 3 or 4 is enabled. Refer to Feature Customization for details. Component Tests and General Diagnostics
- Open vehicle door (open signal in circuit 49, 54 and 159).
- The key removed from the ignition switch, thus disabling lockout prevention (open signal in circuit 80.)
- Pressing LOCK once on a door lock switch or keyless entry transmitter (if equipped with RPO AU0).
Upon pressing LOCK, the BCM to sound the chime 3 times. This provides feedback indicating that the last door closed locking feature is active. 5 (+/- 0.5) seconds after all doors are closed, the BCM locks all doors.

To cancel this feature:
- Press UNLOCK on a door lock switch, or keyless entry transmitter (if equipped).
- Turn the ignition switch to the ACC or RUN position.

To override this feature: Press LOCK twice. The BCM locks all doors immediately with a door still open.
