Cruise Release Switch Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.




1. Disconnect the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the left instrument panel insulator.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the switch (1).
4. Pull out the switch (1) in order to remove the switch (1) from the retainer in the brake pedal bracket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Push in the switch (1) in order to install the switch (1) to the retainer in the brake pedal bracket.
2. Connect the electrical connector to the switch (1).
3. Adjust the cruise control release switch and the stoplamp switch. Refer to Cruise Release Switch Adjustment Cruise Release Switch Adjustment
4. Install the left instrument panel insulator.
5. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Starting and Charging. Service and Repair
