Ignition Switch Replacement - On Vehicle

Removal

1. Disconnect the battery negative cable from the battery.
2. Remove the left side closeout insulator panel. Service and Repair
3. Disconnect the steering column electrical connector from the vehicle.
4. Remove the steering column shrouds.
5. Remove the ignition lock cylinder. Service and Repair
6. Remove the ignition switch. Service and Repair


Installation

1. Install the ignition switch.
2. Install the ignition lock cylinder.
3. Install the steering column shrouds.
4. Connect the steering column electrical connector to the vehicle.
5. Install the left side closeout insulator panel.
6. Connect the battery negative cable to the battery.
