COMPARTMENT REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Open the IP compartment door.
2. Remove the screws (1) that mount the IP compartment to the instrument panel.
3. Pull out the clips in order to remove the IP compartment from the instrument panel.The clips may be difficult to release.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the electrical connectors.




2. Slide the IP compartment into the opening in the instrument panel.
3. Align the locator pins into the hole in the instrument panel.
4. Align the retaining clips with the slots.
5. Push in the IP compartment until secure.
6. Install the screws (1) to the IP compartment.

Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

7. Close the IP compartment door.
