Seat Back Cover Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Bucket (Seat Replacement - Bucket) .
2. Remove the head restraint. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement - Front Seat (Head Restraint Replacement - Front Seat) .
3. Remove the map pocket net. Refer to Map Pocket Net Replacement - Front Seat (Map Pocket Net Replacement - Front Seat) .
4. Remove the finish covers. Refer to Seat Adjuster Track Cover Replacement - Front (Seat Adjuster Track Cover Replacement - Front) .
5. Remove the recliner handle and cap. Seat Back Recliner Handle Replacement - Front (Seat Back Recliner Handle Replacement - Front) .
6. Remove the seat back recliner covers starting at the rear of the cover.




7. Remove the J retainer (1) from the bottom edge of the seat back cover.
8. Remove the recliner bolts.
9. Separate the seat back from the seat cushion.
10. Remove the seat back cover from the seat back cushion while separating the hook and loop retainers.




11. Remove the seat back cover retainer rings (2).
12. Remove the seat back cover (1).



Installation Procedure





1. Install the seat back cover (1).
2. Install the seat back cover retainer rings (2).
3. Secure the seat back cover to the foam pad with the hook and loop retainers.
4. Install the seat back to the seat cushion.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

5. Install the front seat recliner bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 48 N.m (35 lb ft).





6. Install the J retainer (1) to the bottom edge of the seat back cover.
7. Install the seat back recliner covers in place.
8. Install the recliner handle and cap. Refer to Seat Back Recliner Handle Replacement - Front (Seat Back Recliner Handle Replacement - Front) .
9. Install the finish covers. Refer to Seat Adjuster Track Cover Replacement - Front (Seat Adjuster Track Cover Replacement - Front) .
10. Install the map pocket net. Refer to Map Pocket Net Replacement - Front Seat (Map Pocket Net Replacement - Front Seat) .
11. Install the head restraint. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement - Front Seat (Head Restraint Replacement - Front Seat) .
12. Install the front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Bucket (Seat Replacement - Bucket) .
