Front Fender Replacement



Fender Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Front (Service and Repair) .




2. Remove the antenna bezel, if equipped, by pulling up and away from the vehicle.




3. Loosen the front of the rocker molding. Hold down the molding enough to remove the lower rear bolt (3).
4. Loosen the front fascia assembly in order to gain access to and remove the lower front bolt (4).
5. Remove the upper rear bolt (2) through the door opening.
6. Remove the upper fender bolts (1).
7. Remove the fender (5) from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the fender to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the upper fender bolts (1).

Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

3. Install the upper rear bolt through the door opening.

Tighten the bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

4. Install the lower fender bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

5. Secure the front of the rocker molding in place.
6. Secure the front fascia assembly in place.




7. Install the antenna bezel, if equipped.
8. Install the front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Front (Service and Repair) .
