Horn: Service and Repair

HORN REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the left headlamp.




2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
3. Remove the nut that secures the horn bracket to the vehicle.
4. Remove the horn assembly from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the horn assembly to the vehicle.
2. Connect the electrical connector.
3. Install the nut that secures the horn bracket to the vehicle.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the nut to 10 N.m (89 lb ft).
4. Install the left headlamp.
