THROTTLE CLOSING
Fig 19-With curb idle speed set hold choke valve open with cam follower lever off fast idle cam steps. Measure clearance between forward edge of slot in the secondary throttle valve pick-up lever and the secondary actuating rod. Clearence should be 0.020 inch. To adjust, bend secondary closing tang on primary throttle lever.

THROTTLE OPENING
Fig 20-Open primary throttle lever until link lightly contacts secondary lever tang. The bottom end of the link should be in the center of the slot in secondary lever. To adjust, bend tang on secondary lever.
