Steering Wheel: Service and Repair

EXC. FIREBIRD
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove screws attaching horn pad assembly to steering wheel.
3. Disconnect horn contact from steering wheel.
4. Remove steering wheel nut retainer and attaching nut.
5. Using suitable steering wheel puller, remove steering wheel. Note position of steering wheel to shaft.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
