Some 1982 CO, CK, and C7 model THM 200-C transmissions may exhibit a 3-2 and 2-1 coastdown clunk condition... This condition is most noticeable at 5-10 mph.

SPACER PLATE IDENTIFICATION:

Beginning with the start of production for 1984, all THM 200-C transmissions are produced using a new control valve spacer plate with an orificed exhaust to correct this 3-2 and 2-1 coastdown clunk condition.
