General Motors has determined that some 1983 2000 models equipped with 1.8 liter Electronic Fuel Injection/Overhead Cam engines may have been assembled with incorrect engine main bearing cap bolts. To prevent this from occurring, dealers are to inspect vehicles for specific engine identification and, if necessary, replace the engine main bearing cap bolts.
