M/T - Closed Throttle Coast Down Stalling

Subject: DRIVEABILITY CONDITION 1983 1.8L EFI WITH 5-SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION
There have been some comments of vehicles equipped with the 1.8L EFI engine equipped with manual 5-speed transmission encountering a closed throttle stalling condition.

This condition occurs after a closed throttle coast down from highway speeds and depressing the clutch pedal at approximately 35 miles per hour.

If this condition is encountered, replace the PROM with part number 1226587.
