Rear Deck Luggage Carrier, A and J - Coming Loose

Subject: "A" AND "J" REAR DECK LUGGAGE CARRIER
There may be instances of the rear cross rails of the rear deck luggage carrier becoming loose.

To correct this condition, remove the two existing rubber "well-nut" fasteners (one on each end of the rear cross rail) and install "molly nut" (part number 1623436).

The holes in the deck lid should be inspected after removal of the "well-nut" for signs of rust or corrosion. If rust or corrosion is present, the condition should be corrected before installing part number 1623436.
