BRAKE CALIPER:
The park brake cables are clipped to the rear caliper park brake lever at the factory to maintain proper cable location. When caliper or cable service is required, the retaining clips should be reinstalled.
Vehicles built between 1984 and mid 1986 were not built with retaining clips. When servicing vehicles without retaining clips, add the clips, P/N 14102324, as shown in the Illustration..
