SUBJECT: THM 440 T4




Effective April 1985, the spring was eliminated from the throttle lever and bracket assembly (figure 1, item 50). This change was. made to reduce throttle pedal effort.

Do not install a throttle valve lever return spring on any THM 440 T4 that does not have one. When servicing a THM 440 T4, the spring can be eliminated on any 1984-1985 model to reduce throttle pedal effort.
