Some 1982 thru 1984 THM 125/125-C transmissions may exhibit a rough neutral to drive gear engagement.
Beginning December, 1983, a new forward clutch wave plate, Part Number 8652126 went into production. Refer to the chart below for model and serial number application.
When servicing any 1982 thru 1984 model THM 125/125-C transmission for this rough neutral to drive condition, order Part Number 8652126.. Refer to the service manual for removal and replacement of the forward clutch wave plate.
