Control Assembly: Service and Repair

CAMARO & FIREBIRD

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove radio console and A/C control trim plate, then remove A/C control retaining screws.
3. Draw A/C control unit out of console. Remove harness connection and vacuum lines, then disconnect temperature control cable.
4. With control unit out of vehicle, replace blower switch on vacuum valve as required.
5. Reverse procedure to install, using right side retainer screw to align unit in console during installation.
