Owatonna Tool Company is making available an update program so that your Monitor II may be upgraded to a full function Monitor IV. This update expands your Monitor's capability from 5 C-3 systems to 12 C-3 systems and from 23 diagnostic modes to 38 diagnostic modes, many of which are dual display.
With the Monitor IV you can trouble-shoot the following 1981-1984 3C systems:

Another plus for using the tool is the data the technician receives is what the E.C.M. is receiving and commanding, which aids in most trouble shooting.
This tool can help to increase your efficiency and reduce your costs by keeping tool requirements at a minimum.

Owatonna Tool Company is making available, an update pogram so that your Monitor II may be upgraded to a full functional Monitor IV. This update expands your Monitor's capability from 5 C-3 systems to 12 C-3 systems and from 23 diagnostic modes to 38 diagniostic modes, many of which are dual display. The update modification also allows your Monitor II to check 1981 through 1984 GM vehicles, including the new Multi-port fuel injected engines.
The update modification includes new 1981-1984 software, as well as a 400 page service manual with all kinds of C-3 diagnostic information and a new 1981-1984 Monitor operator's manual.
The Monitor II update will be available at a special price of only $124.95. The price will be $149.95 for orders received after June 1, 1984.
Just follow these easy steps to participate in the update program.
1. Complete the order form on the back of this sheet - BE SURE TO USE YOUR STREET ADDRESS, AS UPS WILL NOT SHIP TO A P.O. BOX. We will not be able to return your unit to you if you do not include your street address.
2. Please enclose your payment with your update order. Either check, Visa or Mastercard credit cards are accepted. Please be sure to include your credit card expiration date on the order form.
3. Complete this order form and return with your Monitor II tester postage prepaid to:

4. When returning your Monitor II to us for update, PLEASE RETURN ONLY THE MONITOR -- DO NOT RETURN ANY MANUALS, ADAPTERS, CASES, ETC. OTC will not be responsible for items returned to us other than the Monitor II.
5. Your Monitor II will be updated and returned to you in approximately two weeks. PLEASE NOTE: The update will change your unit's serial number, therefore if you have recorded your serial number for insurance purposes, please be sure to note the new serial number when your unit is returned to you.
