MODELS AFFECTED 1984 Pontiac Parisienne, Bonneville, Grand Prix
and Firebird Models Equipped With 5.0L (RPO LG4 VIN Code H) or 5.0L (RPO L69, VIN Code G) Engines

General Motors has determined that certain 1984 Pontiac model vehicles may experience an inoperative canister purge Thermo Vacuum Switch (TVS). An inoperative canister purge TVS can affect the intended function of the evaporative emission system.
To prevent the possibility of this condition occurring, the canister purge TVS will be replaced on all involved vehicles.
