Shift Shaft Detent/Transaxle Housing

Refer to accompanying image for shift shaft detent components and transaxle housing view,

1. Install spring seat (144).

2. Install 5th/reverse bias spring (143).

3. Install spring seat (142).

4. Install attaching screw (141). Use a small amount of thread sealant No. 1052624 or equivalent.

5. Torque attaching screw (141) to 84 inch lbs.

6. Install protective cover (140). Position cover below snap ring groove.

7. Install snap ring (139).
