Manual Steering Gear Replace

1. Raise vehicle and remove bolts and shield.
2. Remove tie rod cotter pins and nuts from tie rod ends and separate tie rods from steering knuckles.
3. Remove flexible coupling pinch bolt.
4. Remove steering gear clamp bolts, then the steering gear assembly from vehicle.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Torque steering knuckle to tie rod nut to 30 ft. lbs., flex coupling pinch bolt to 30 ft. lbs. and steering gear clamp bolt to 14 ft. lbs.
