RADIO ANTENNA CABLE RE-ROUTING DIAGRAM:
There have been some instances of misrouted radio antenna cables and/or the radio digital clock wire connector clipped incorrectly. These items may result in radio static or poor AM reception and an inoperative radio clock.
To repair this condition, remove the radio and reroute the radio antenna cable below the I.P. side window defogger tube and glove box. This will allow sufficient antenna cable length to permit its attachment to the radio.
The memory/dimming circuit (part of main harness) 2-pin female connector (black) may be trapped by the right hand main wire harness clip that fastens the main wire harness to the instrument panel (see attached sketch). The radio 2-pin male connector (white) will appear to be too short to connect to the female connector in the main harness. Take the female connector and wires out from under the I/P clip to permit a connection.
