A/T - Updated Torque Converter
Number 85-7-17 Date 4/85Subject: NEW DESIGN TORQUE CONVERTER LUGS
1985 MODEL YEAR 200C; 200-4R; 325-4L; 350C; 700-R4
Torque Converter Lugs:
Starting in early March, 1985, all 245 mm and 298 mm torque converter assemblies used on the transmission models listed above will be built with a new design converter lug. (See illustration)
Additionally, all 298 mm torque converter assemblies used with diesel engine applications will have only three converter lugs instead of the six lugs that are currently being used.
Torque converter assemblies having the new design converter lugs will be optional for Field Service Use..
