Upper

1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove wheel and tire assembly, then the rivet securing brake line clip to upper control arm.
3. Support lower control arm with a suitable jack, then remove upper ball joint as described under ``Upper Ball Joint, Replace.''
4. Remove control arm attaching bolt and the control arm from vehicle.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Torque control arm attaching bolt to 66 ft. lbs. Washers and shims must be installed in their original positions unless a change in caster angle is desired.
