1985 PARISIENNE SEDAN MODELS WITH 4.3L V6 (LB4) ENGINE (VIN CODE Z)

Some 1985 Parisienne models with 4.3L Throttle Body Injection (TBI) engines may experience a hesitation on a tip-in acceleration maneuver. This condition may occur during warm-up or after the vehicle has reached normal operating temperature.

This condition can be corrected by installing a new service PROM as listed below. Federal vehicles also require a new EGR valve.
