125C Auto Transaxle - Description

The THM 125 C, is similar to the THM 125 except that it has a 4-element torque converter and [1][2]torque converter clutch. The torque converter clutch provides a direct mechanical coupling of the engine to the planetary gears and offers a more efficient transfer of engine torque to the drive wheels due to the elimination of a small amount of slippage that occurs in a conventional torque converter. When the converter clutch is released, the assembly operates as a conventional torque converter.
