1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then drain cooling system.
2. Remove right hand louvered outer cover.
3. Remove plastic battery cover.
4. Disconnect wires from junction block.
5. Remove EVRV and bracket.
6. Raise and support vehicle.
7. Remove right rear wheel and inner fender splash shield.
8. Remove alternator drive belt.
9. Remove water pump attaching bolts, Fig. 17.
10. Lower vehicle.
11. Remove water pump.
12. Reverse procedure to install. Apply a 2 mm bead of suitable sealer to water pump sealing surface.
