EXC. FIREBIRD, PARISIENNE & SAFARI
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove upper and lower instrument panel trim plates, Fig. 12.
3. Remove instrument panel bezel attaching screws and bezel, if equipped.
4. On column mounted shift models, remove shift indicator cable.
5. On Firebird, loosen steering column nuts and lower column approximately 1/2 inch.
6. On all models, remove cluster retaining screws, pull cluster outward and disconnect speedometer cable and printed circuit connector, if equipped.
7. Remove lower bezel anti-rattle clips, if equipped, then instrument cluster, Fig. 13.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
