Brake Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

Refer to Figure 1 and follow these steps:
1. Depressurize the hydraulic accumulator.
2. Disconnect the pressure switch electrical connector.
3. Remove the pressure switch from the pump, using tool J-35804 and a driver.
4. Remove the pressure switch 0-ring seal from the switch.
5. Lubricate and install the 0-ring seal on the pressure switch.
6. Install the pressure switch, tightening it to 23 N-m (17 lb. ft.) torque.
7. Attach the pressure switch electrical connector.
8. Charge the hydraulic accumulator and check for fluid leaks.
9. Check the reservoir fluid level.
