Troubleshooting
1. If compressor does not operate, proceed as follows:
a. Perform ``ELC Relay & Compressor Motor Test.''
b. Perform ``Actuator Arm Test.''
c. Perform ``ELC Height Sensor Test.''
2. If system does not vent, proceed as follows:
a. Perform ``Vent Solenoid Test.''
b. Perform ``Actuator Arm Test.''
c. Perform ``ELC Height Sensor Test.''
3. If compressor runs continuously and vehicle raises but does not leak down, proceed as follows:
a. Perform ``Actuator Arm Test.''
b. Disconnect electrical connector from ELC height sensor. If compressor does not run, replace ELC height sensor. If compressor runs, inspect circuit 321 (yellow wire), inflator switch and associated wiring for a short to ground. If wiring and switch are satisfactory, replace ELC relay.
4. If system vents continuously, proceed as follows:
a. Perform ``Actuator Arm Test.''
b. Perform ``Vent Solenoid Short Test.''
5. If compressor runs for 3 1/2 minutes then shuts off, or vehicle does not raise, or raises and leaks down, proceed as follows:
a. Perform ``Actuator Arm Test.''
b. Perform ``Vent Solenoid Short Test.''
6. If compressor does not run for inflator feature, proceed as follows:
a. Perform ``Inflator Time Relay Test.''
b. Perform ``Inflator Switch Test.''
7. If inflator air does not flow through hose, but compressor runs, proceed as follows:
a. Perform ``Inflator Time Relay Test.''
b. Perform ``Inflator Solenoid Valve Test.''
