Affected: 1987-1989 BONNEVILLE
Some 1987-1989 Bonneville models equipped with manual seat back recliners may experience slight seat back movement.

To repair this condition, replace the recliner assembly with the part numbers listed below:

12501271 Recliner - Passenger
12501272 Recliner - Driver

IMPORTANT: Each recliner kit contains a recliner and four bolts.

Parts are currently available from GMSPO.

Refer to the appropriate Service Information Manual, Section 10-9, for the installation procedure.

For warranty purposes use Labor Operation C6510 at .7 hour for passenger recliners or C6511 at .7 hour for the driver recliner.
