PONTIAC
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. On models w/tilt wheel, place wheel in lowest position.
3. On all models, place selector lever in position ``1.''
4. lightly pry around perimeter of trimplate, then remove trimplate.
5. Remove IP trimplate, then the speaker, side defogger and defroster grilles.
6. Remove speaker attaching screws and electrical connectors.
7. Remove I/P pad.
8. Remove 5 attaching screws, Fig. 20, then disconnect PRNDL cable from steering column bowl.
9. Remove instrument cluster.
10. Reverse procedure to install.
