Subject: LEAD/PULL

BONNEVILLE MODELS
It has been reported that some dealers may be changing factory caster settings in an attempt to repair a lead or pull condition. Normally, caster should not be altered. If a lead or pull condition is encountered, the FWD diagnosis chart for radial tire lead/pull in Section 3 of the Service Manual should be used. As noted in the chart, camber should be adjusted, if necessary. Camber is an easier adjustment, and is more effective than caster in repairing lead and pull. Any small changes to camber should not significantly affect tire wear.
