Troubleshooting


1. If compressor does not operate, proceed as follows:
a. Perform ``ELC Relay & Compressor Motor Test.''
b. Perform ``Actuator Arm Test.''
c. Perform ``ELC Height Sensor Test.''
2. If system does not vent, proceed as follows:
a. Perform ``Vent Solenoid Test.''
b. Perform ``Actuator Arm Test.''
c. Perform ``ELC Height Sensor Test.''
3. if compressor runs continuously, proceed as follows:
a. Perform ``Actuator Arm Test.''
b. Disconnect electrical connector from ELC height sensor. If compressor does not run, replace ELC height sensor. If compressor runs, inspect circuit 321 (yellow wire) for a short to ground. If circuit is satisfactory, replace ELC relay.
4. If system vents continuously, proceed as follows:
a. Disconnect electrical connector from ELC height sensor.
b. If venting stops, replace ELC height sensor. If venting continues, locate and repair short to ground in circuit 320 (white wire).
