Some 1985-88 Grand Am models equipped with fog lamps option T37/T83 may exhibit a condition where the fog lamps stay on even after the fog lamp and ignition switches have been shut off.
This condition may be caused by an inoperative fog lamp relay, and can be repaired by replacing the faulty relay with Part Number 10040835. Parts are currently available from GMSPO. This relay has a different rating and will prevent the condition from recurring.
