REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery ground cable, discharge refrigerant and drain cooling system.
2. Raise and support vehicle, disconnect heater hoses from core tubes, then lower vehicle.
3. Remove console extensions and radio trim plate.
4. Remove hand brake lever grip, shifter trim plate and rear console trim plate.
5. Remove hush panels and steering column filler, then disconnect instrument panel harness at junction block.
6. Remove lower lefthand air duct.
7. Remove A/C-heater control assembly.
8. Disconnect necessary electrical connectors, then remove console and box assembly.
9. Remove defroster grilles.
10. Remove upper instrument panel carrier retaining screws.
11. Loosen steering column retaining nuts.
12. Disconnect temperature cable retaining clip.
13. Remove instrument panel carrier center retaining screw and the console air ducts.
14. Remove instrument panel carrier assembly.
15. Remove lower plenum and lower housing from A/C module, Fig. 4.
16. Remove heater core and baffle plate.
17. Remove A/C module retaining screws and the module assembly, Fig. 4.

INSTALLATION
1. Install A/C module retaining screws and the module assembly, Fig. 4.
2. Install heater core and baffle plate.
3. Install lower plenum and lower housing to A/C module, Fig. 4.
4. Install instrument panel carrier assembly.
5. Install instrument panel carrier center retaining screw and the console air ducts.
6. Connect temperature cable retaining clip.
7. Tighten steering column retaining nuts.
8. Install upper instrument panel carrier retaining screws.
9. Install defroster grilles.
10. Connect necessary electrical connectors, then install console and box assembly.
11. Install A/C-heater control assembly.
12. Install lower lefthand air duct.
13. Install hush panels and steering column filler, then connect instrument panel harness at junction block.
14. Install hand brake lever grip, shifter trim plate and rear console trim plate.
15. Install console extensions and radio trim plate.
16. Raise and support vehicle, connect heater hoses to core tubes, then lower vehicle.
17. Connect battery ground cable, and charge refrigerant and fill cooling system.
